We're leaving Heartprints
EVERYWHERE!

This is how we notice and celebrate all the "Heartprints'" (helpful acts) in our classroom.  The Heartprints Reporter puts a heart on a cloud every time a helpful act is noticed.  They then write/draw the act and/or the name of the family members who were involved.  At the end of the day we celebrate the acts.  This is not a way to reward, it's a way to notice and celebrate and encourage. 
 This is another way we build our school family (from Conscious Discipline by Dr. Becky Bailey). 
The Heartprint board was inspired by my magnificent mother-in-law, Diana Taylor, and a wonderful friend, Katja Von Elbe (they also leave Heartprints wherever they go!)-Thank you ladies!!!
