Mrs. Amy Pylant's PreK
Classroom
Rosemont Elementary
(I used a pig theme for this page because she loves pigs and has a
pet pig named Charlie!)
The minute I walked in
to Mrs. Pylant's room I knew I was in for a treat! What a
happy and beautiful place! The first thing I wanted to do was
to explore all the wonderful things "Ms. Amy" has set up for her
children. So many opportunities for meaningful and
developmentally appropriate learning-Wow! Her children were
engaged in so many activities-and Ms. Amy's energy and enthusiasm
was contagious. I can't wait to visit again...
When the kids enter, they put their name tag up and check the
schedule for their day's routine.

Mrs. Pylant received a grant
this year to create this Storybook Garden with her children.
The before pictures are a tangled and weedy mess! The children
cleared the area themselves and planted a variety of flowers and
plants. Statues and plaques are dedicated after stories are
read and put in the garden. It's beautiful and and is the
first thing you see as you drive up to the school!
