wonderful little chant. Whatever the cube displays (S.T.A.R.,

Elizabeth created interactive
cards with the "I Love You Rituals" and leaves them in a tub by her
classroom door. When families come in, they are very
accessible for a quick teaching moment with the family and child! |

Rituals" as an integral part of her literacy program. The
children not only participate in the rituals, they read them from
pocket charts, song charts, and illustrate them in take home books

Although I didn't get to see Wendy's
presentation, she was so gracious in sharing her ideas and all her
stuff! These are wonderful way to bring Conscious Discipline
into upper grade classrooms. Many teachers feel CD can't be
adapted for upper grades-Wendy proves it absolutely can be done, and
done so well!! |
